Your introduction to storytelling

Welcome to the Story Tree Company.

I am passionate about oral stories because of the nourishing soul food they provide. Through storytelling performances, recordings and workshops, I can help you experience the ancient, healing wisdom held in told stories, both for children and adults.

If you just want to soak up stories, check out my Story Tree CDs, iTales, performances and weblinks.

If want to learn about stories and storytelling then visit my workshops page and testimonials. I teach ways to understand folktales and myths; how to tell a story well and how to make up stories with soul. I can help you use stories to inspire, to heal, to enchant, to build community, to get a message across effectively or to simply entertain.

I hope you enjoy your visit. I look forward to hearing from you.

Jenni Cargill-Strong - Workshop Leader

“After attending three sessions of ‘The Armchair Storyteller’, my memory, imagination and confidence have grown to the point where it is now imperative that I begin crafting my own stories.” - Mariam Makinson, Jungian Therapist, The Channon.

Jenni Cargill-Strong - Storyteller

“I loved Jenni Cargill's performance of Inanna's story. It was rich and funny and tragic and wonderfully vivid. In moments I felt as if I'd been magically drawn into the heart of an ancient rite, as if the goddess herself was speaking.” - Melaina Faranda, author of the international series: The Circle, published by Random House

‘Something is happening in the power and practice of story:
in the midst of overwhelming noise and distraction,
the voice of story is calling us to remember our true selves.’
- Christina Baldwin, The Storycatcher
